Why early detection
The screening gap is bigger than most people realize.
Recommended screening exists for only a limited number of cancers. A new approach could help look for many cancers at the same time, including cancers that do not have routine screening today.
Cancers with routine screening recommendations
Many cancers have no routine screening recommendation
The opportunity: look for signals from multiple cancers with one blood test.
Stage matters
Finding cancer earlier may broaden treatment options and reduce the burden that can come with later diagnosis.
Learn moreScreening has limits
Today’s screening programs remain essential, but they focus on individual organs and specific populations.

Multi-cancer early detection is designed to look for cancer signals from many cancer types at once.

A different way to screen for cancer.
What is an MCED test?
Multi-cancer early detection tests use a blood sample to look for biological signals associated with multiple types of cancer at the same time. They are designed to complement—not replace—the cancer screenings your healthcare provider already recommends.
How Galleri® works
Galleri® looks for DNA fragments in the bloodstream that may be shed by cancer cells. When a cancer signal is detected, the test predicts where in the body it may be coming from to help guide diagnostic follow-up.
A routine blood sample
A healthcare provider orders the test, and a blood sample is collected for analysis.
